Here at MTM, we are honoured to celebrate KABIDJOU’s work. The Algerian fashion designer and artist is pure talent.
We asked KABIDJOU to speak about their work:
“Fashion has always been more than just fabric and silhouettes for me — it’s a living language, a universe of expression where every detail tells a story. Through sketching haute couture pieces from visionary designers like Robert Wun, Adrazaei, Armani Privé, and Iris van Herpen, I find a way to translate that language into my own voice.

For me, fashion illustration is not just about recreating garments, but about capturing the emotion, the energy, and the poetry woven into each design. Every artist has their own way of speaking to the world — some use words, others use music; I use lines, textures, and colors. It’s how I express who I am, what I feel, and the infinite beauty I see in the art of couture.
This passion is a constant in my life — a dialogue between imagination and reality. Through every stroke, I aspire to embody my belief that all lines carry aura. Each line is more than a shape; it is energy, emotion, and identity. My art invites others to feel the story behind each garment and experience the unseen essence that couture holds.

I would like to sincerely thank Meet the Maghreb for this wonderful opportunity and for embracing my work with such appreciation. Your support means so much to me, and I’m truly honored to share my passion for fashion illustration through your platform. Thank you for giving artists like me the space to express and connect with the world.”
